Watch Wall-e with deardear today! At vivo..
the advertisements took so long man.. for at least 3o min..
there was this particular cartoon ad that goes on so long as if its a movie, so much that deardear and i tot that we had enter the wrong theatre! hahs..

Anway, Wall-e is defintely not a show for guys, cos guys feel that its only revolving around 2 robots, at least in the beginning..
but its definitely cute in the eyes of girls!!

P.S. I found out that my sis had watched the same movie as me too, in the same day, with her friend!

So happy!! No need to go to primary schools to teach for today and tmr!!
(cos they are having PSLE oral)

YIPPEE!!

My violin teacher finally taught me something new--Lalo's 'symphonie espagnole'.
I was so shocked when he told me that he decided that we should move on, to a piece with the difficulty of the diploma standard.

It's obviously not an ancient chinese piece again.

Don't know what make him change his mind.

He can't be reading my blog, can he?

Watched 'Money No Enough 2' with deardear today, after my make-up class for my violin students. At northpoint GV.

We went to buy the tickets first, and then as i had this sudden craving for mac's strawberry sundae with rainbow choc toppings, we went mac after that. Deardear bought a fudge sundae with nuts toppings instead.

Thanks for the treat deardear. :)

In the movie theatre:

O god it is really very dirty in there. crumbs all over on the seats. we had to practically dust it off before sitting ourselves down.

Well anyway the movie is really cool! It's damn funny larx, and extremely sad too. Lessons can sure be learnt from watching the movie. Jack Neo is really good at being a director.

When we are on the way to leave theatre, o what a sight we saw! People actually threw banana skins and tissues ont eh carpet, and leave their drinks at their seats, waiting for the others to clean up after them! How inconsiderate!

Went home and watch the remaining of the olympics grand opening then. wow such a grand display of the fireworks, and what an elaborate planning for the lighting of the olympic torch!

Had a great day with deardear today!

Sometimes i just can stand the systems in schs.

All the staff there treated me like a terrorist.
Like im going to abduct all the children.

Just because im not wearing an 'external instructor' tag cos the receptionist in the office hasn't create one for me yet.

The only tag im given is the 'visitor' tag.

And the staffs expect me to be wearing that ALL THE TIME.
@#%&*^%#?!

Learning violin from an old, china teacher=learning to play old china songs, transcribed for the violin.

I just wished to learn something different, something that is common for music diploma students to learn(ie pieces composed by westerners).

But he seems very against the idea of learning that. He thinks that asians will definitely lose to those westerners if we performed their pieces as we do not know how the way of expression in their pieces, but as asians if we perform asian pieces, we will be very likely to stand out.

What's more that i could say? except that i just want to learn those western pieces that are basic necessity to learn, and i don care about whether i'll lose out to others or not. It's just necessary to learn them, right?

sometimes i think i must be mad.
i actually decided to continue learning music theory, starting from grade 7.
And i really really hate theory.

Now that i have came into contact with them again, my big old fears about them came back.
Looking the questions, not knowing where should i start with, which ones to skip.

Guess i could only jiayou le :(

What a surprise! I've actually gotten a letter from YJC, asking me to attend their prize presentation ceremony on the 8 Aug for the GCE 'A' level Best in subject award for H2 Music!

Haha..I was really shocked..cos from what i know, only 3 students in the whole cohort(incluing me) took music.
And all 3 of us have gotten a 'C' grade..

So, still don't know how i gotten to be the best..
