that's what happens when u have a locker..
u tend to put everything in the locker and forget to bring them home..

also, i left the Handel piece in cristofori today( as i went there for replacement lesson )
so i quickly msg my violin teacher, Nikolai, asking him to help me bring his copy for me for my violin lesson with him tmr..

anw the performance today was fine..
and my sis had her piano exam today!
(and i've actually forgotten to wish her good luck)

i guess her exam was alright too..
shall wait for the result to come out:)

overslept on the bus all the way to yishun interchange!!

i woke up halfway while i was abt to reach the interchange..
so i quickly rush to take bus 811 home..

wasn't really feeling well today.
feel like vomiting since morning on the bus..

then today for dinner my family ordered pizza hut..
i don think its nice though..
only ate 2 slices..


p.s. my sis is so happy now that she keeps smiling to herself non-stop( as her bf said he wants come to find her after his attachment )

Today hartung chased out a girl for not practising..
so scary..

he even say: 'the next person who plays a wrong note will go out of the class'..
after hearing that, i looked at every single note carefully and try to play softer..(in case i accidentally played wrongly)

still need to teach tmr:(

after coming into nafa,
i felt that i had lose all my interest in teaching.

its like i rather practice violin all day then teaching..

luckily nv sign up for MOE..
otherwise sure regret..

Insomnia again..

These few days isn't very good..
its like ppl around me are in a bad mood, which is affecting me as well..

by right meeting cousin and shichao for supper; but then shichao said its better not to go out at this timing during the very first day of the 7th month..
i think he's right, if he hadn't said that, i would have forgotten that too..

long time nv meet them already though,
cos i want to prioritise my schoolwork first..
and practising as well..

i noe ur may get very tired of my practising,
but since i went NAFA, i have to practise.
otherwise why do i even come in here?

i could not afford to get distracted by my mood but i always do..

i must stay more focused i guess..

im already distracted today.
and i should be slping now but i can't. Again.

Today i missed my stop on the journey home..
cos i overslept on the bus..

i usually sleep on the journey home, cos its such a long journey(loop at suntec city all the way to yishun)..

realised that i left 'kreutzer' in school locker..
im supposed to practice that but i haven't touch it yet,
so gotta go school early to practice that(since im having violin lesson tmr)


learnt from chao that cousin had a tiff with his gf..
hmm..
i just feel that its pointless to quarrel; all quarrels will eventually lead to break ups, so wad's the point?
ur will learn one day how much ur really treasure each other, so don't take each other for granted o..

Getting a bit stressed on what i missed out today in school..
still abit sick now though..

I realised that im a real blur and dumb person..

i went to esplanade today to borrow a baroque opera score as we need to write a report on the preface of the score.

i was in a rush then, so i just borrowed the first opera score i see, without flipping through it.

went i decided to do my report just now, i then realised that there is nothing for me to write on: cos there's no preface describing the opera.

it's just filled with notes..

who knows..

sigh..

practiced for quite a few hours on my violin just now..

directly after dinner..

till now..

the amount of things to practice is tremendous.

i haven't even finished half of what i should..

maybe i should go continue practising now,

since i can't do my report..

Long time nv blog..

so here's a quick one..

went to a violin concert today at VCH..
the violinist is really extremely pro..
hope i can play like her one day too..

ps lesson today.
my violin teacher taught me new stuffs
(though still related to the bow hand)
its new to me though..
sometimes i wonder why my past violin teacher don correct all these mistakes of mine..
will try to correct my mistakes asap..

tmr there's strings.
and i haven practise the pieces..
hope hartung won't aim at me.

i oso haven practise my ensemble piece.
only worked on the pieces my teacher taught..

Strings performance class today!!
Played Tcahikovsky's D major's Canzonetta, instead of the etudes i told hartung i'll be playing.

Cos that's my forte..

Play that for so many times--for A levels, for concerts, everything :)

was so nervous la..
whole body shaking..

i think i could have played better if i'm not so nervous ba..
but anw it was quite alright:)

Went to perform at Red dot design museum!

It was really great..

we had free dinner at the korean restaurant..

and though the food was only like so-so( cos i don dare to eat all those intestines and sashimi ),

i love the concept of the place!!

the seats were like so traditionally korean..

chairs with no legs at all ( so we had to cross our legs )..

its a brand new experience!! :)

the performance was great i think..

At mac with cousin and shichao..

Nowadays shichao always go cousin's house (almost daily), in the early morning..
he must be too bored without jiaju.

So gay de tocy(shichao's new nickname)..

There's alot of things that i just realised today:

1: NAFA actually has a canteen!! Haha, didn't noe it until didier told me..the food( according to her) was bad though..
and to think i dono that and went around tellin ppl that NAFA has no canteen..
-_-

2: NAFA's library has a 2nd storey! All the while I thought the library is very lame, until today when i went with didier, and she brought me up to the 2nd floor!! And it's a very condusive place to study and slack, there're lots of tables and chairs around..

3: Mr Lim, my SAS (singapore arts scene) teacher, who told me to go for today's concert, was performing on the bassoon for one of the item!! Haha..and i'm supposed to write a report on today's concert..now that's hard..if i wrote that he played very well, he'll thought i'm boot-licking him into giving me good grades..haha..
But he really played well :)


Today Dr Kan told me that i'll be able to transfer to the NAFA cum NIE teaching course( after learning from me that i actually applied for that previously but was unsuccessful). She actually took the trouble to speak to the person in charge for me, and yet i told her that i don wan to switch course already..
she seems a bit angry.. :(
I thought she was only checking out the reason why they rejected me at first, when they are so in need of teachers ma..
so i never tell her not to transfer for me..
i've decided to stay in this music performance diploma, cos now i really feel that this diploma is really helping me improve my violin skills..

today there's string performance class..
hartung will anyhow pick anyone to perform for the whole strings section on any piece that we've individually prepared..
when he picked on me, i ask if i can played next week..
he said ok, then he asked what piece..

i couldn't think of anything to play, cos he tell yanxin (a china fren of mine) :" No butterflies.."
lol..
so i asked if i can play the etudes that Nikolai (my current NAFA violin teacher) is teaching me..
luckily he said ok..

going to be very stressed next week.. :S

i want to ask you abt the report on the concert review that we need to hand in this friday..

I missed the Bobby chen's concert due that day as I'm not feeling well, and now when I wanted to go for concerts at esplanade, I can't find any that is 'professional'.
They only had SNYO's concert, or SLO's concert etc..

And even for the NAFA's concert series tmr, its by NAFA's graduates.

Hope you can advise me on what to do.

There was a total of 8 days between the Bobby Chen concert and today. Have you been sick for all 8 days? If yes, produce your MC for all 8 days and you will be given 8 days' extension. Otherwise, go for tomorrow night's performance.

Just finished all my music history hw!!

the hw on music sleeve is more tedious than i tot..
took one hour..

but then again, for Dr kan's hw, one hour is considered the least already..
still have to do the corrections of the previous portfolio on baroque violin music..

which is also already done:)

but one thing bad, i haven play my violin yet..

and outside, i have a good bunch of frens too, cousin vin, shi chao, and jun hao..
so i should really consider myself lucky and cheer up.

i really treat u as my very best fren, the one who knows practically everything abt me and vice versa..

I went to causeway point (symphony music school), wanting to purchase the harmony book that we're supposed to buy..
but they never sell, cos not many ppl wans buy, it cost $30+..
then they tell me only plaza sing yamaha sells that book..

but anw i bought a set of strings from them (vision strings) since edmund says its good..


my student told me today that during her violin exam last week,
one of her strings broke just before her turn..

luckily she's registered under crist music sch,
so got free service(someone there to fix it for her)

and just ystd a mum told me that her child likes violin alot..
and her child esp enjoys me teaching her and she'll always be very happy coming for lessons..

how nice to hear that:)

sch starts at 11am tmr..

may stay up late to finish hw( i haven touch on it yet)
if i can't get to slp..

Wen bin smsed me today and asked me to be the violinist for his fren's composition, which would be performed this wed at the music platform!

was shocked and honoured..

but i can't do this kind of last min things, esp when ive got like so much to practice already..
haha..

played the orchestra pieces together with the those videos uploaded on youtube..
edmund says im crazy.. -_-
i need more practices ma..
or else later hartung(our conductor) aim at me how..

went to starbucks today after work with junhao.
cos just nice i need to go yishun there to activate my concession pass..
was able to have a good chat with him
it feels like we're going back in time to where we first went on a date(13/3/2008), where we chilled out at starbucks too..

he talked abt his jungle training..
its real tough.
luckily im a gal, no need go army..

i do believe that this is the best for both of us..

we're able to be frens at least..
to keep in touch..

its like all of those moments are the past memories..
(together with the moments we had in sec sch)...
